Community guidelines
These rules form part of the TeaTime Terms and Conditions that every member must accept.
Speak freely. Treat people respectfully.
These rules apply throughout TeaTime, including profiles, posts, messages, and LIVE rooms. TeaTime is for adults aged 18 and older.
Everyone belongs
TeaTime welcomes adults of every race, ethnicity, nationality, and background. Freedom to express ideas and respectful disagreement belong to everyone. Apply conduct rules consistently; identity, political viewpoint, or criticism alone is not a reason to silence a member.
Adults only: 18+
TeaTime membership, viewing, posting, messaging, gifting, and LIVE participation are restricted to adults aged 18 or older. All members, including existing members, must complete the age check. Providing a false date of birth or evading age restrictions is prohibited. Date-of-birth self-declaration is not independent identity verification.
Account security and hacking
Unauthorized access, account theft, password or verification-code theft, phishing, malware, payment tampering, attacks on TeaTime, and attempts to bypass security are prohibited. Confirmed malicious hacking results in a permanent account ban after review. Do not create another account to evade a ban. Good-faith security reports are welcome; stop testing, protect member privacy, and report the issue through a profile report. Never send passwords, verification codes, or stolen data.
Violence and threats
No threats to kill, injure, sexually assault, stalk, or intimidate anyone, whether sent through text, messages, comments, posts, or LIVE audio or video. No calls for violence, swatting, terrorism, or dangerous attacks. Threats can lead to immediate restriction and permanent account bans after review. The pornography/nudity two-strike rule does not require TeaTime to allow a first violent threat. Criminal liability is determined by the authorities and courts, not by a platform report or automated filter.
Cyberbullying and harassment
Debate ideas respectfully. Cyberbullying, targeted or repeated personal attacks, sexual harassment, stalking, coordinated harassment, and intimidation of members or their families are prohibited. Disagreement or criticism alone is not bullying. Conduct may violate TeaTime rules even when it does not meet the legal definition of a crime.
Hate and discrimination
No hateful slurs, dehumanization, exclusion, or threats based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or similar protected characteristics.
Privacy and consent
No doxxing, sharing private addresses or credentials, threats to expose personal information, impersonation, nonconsensual intimate images, or sexual deepfakes.
Protect children
No child sexual abuse material, grooming, exploitation, trafficking, or sexualization of minors. All TeaTime access is limited to members aged 18 or older. No minors may appear on camera, in uploaded photos or videos, profile pictures, or shared screens. Age self-declaration is not independent identity verification.
Dancing, clothing, and no nudity
Dancing, talent performances, and personal clothing styles are welcome. Members may wear outfits of their choice, including dancewear and swimwear, provided private parts remain covered by opaque material throughout the performance. Dancing or clothing style alone is not a violation. Pornography, nudity, exposed intimate body parts, and sexual acts are prohibited throughout TeaTime, including posts, Stories, profile pictures, LIVE broadcasts, shared screens, and messages. This includes illustrated, animated, and AI-generated material. Adults-only membership does not permit pornography or nudity. First confirmed pornography or nudity violation: the picture or content is removed and a warning is recorded. Second confirmed violation: permanent account ban. Reports alone do not count as confirmed violations. Other serious safety violations remain subject to their own enforcement rules. Sexual exploitation, coercion, and gratuitous graphic injury, abuse, or cruelty are also prohibited.
Self-harm and dangerous acts
No encouraging suicide, self-harm, dangerous challenges, or instructions to hurt someone. Requests for support and respectful discussion of recovery are welcome.
Scams, spam, and illegal activity
No fraud, phishing, malicious links, spam raids, illegal sales, or instructions facilitating violent crime. Do not evade a mute, removal, suspension, or ban.
Ownership and transparency
Share only media you have permission to use. Do not impersonate people or misrepresent paid promotions. Respect copyright, trademarks, and other people’s rights.
Hosts and moderators
A room moderator or platform monitor may choose a three-minute regroup pause for a host after reviewing escalating personal attacks or disruptive conduct. This is a soft warning: please regroup and continue with decorum and respect. The same LIVE resumes after the timer; the host does not need to start over. This action is never triggered automatically by ordinary disagreement, a report count, or an AI judgment. Serious threats and other severe violations remain subject to stronger platform enforcement. Hosts may add room rules, blocked terms, and slow mode. Moderators may remove messages, time out participants, and remove people from their room. Room rules cannot weaken TeaTime’s platform rules.
Lawful reporting and cooperation
TeaTime will comply with applicable legal obligations to report suspected criminal conduct, preserve records in its possession, and respond to valid legal process. Credible threats of imminent violence must be escalated promptly to platform leadership and appropriate emergency authorities. Where legally permitted, TeaTime may disclose relevant information it actually holds to governmental authorities in a good-faith emergency involving danger of death or serious physical injury. Disclosures are limited to what is lawfully required or permitted; an accusation alone does not authorize unrestricted access to private accounts or messages. Moderators must escalate legal requests to platform leadership and must not independently release private member information. In immediate danger, contact local emergency services (911 in the U.S.); reporting in TeaTime does not contact emergency services.
Reports and appeals
Report a post, profile, or LIVE from its report control. Use Safety & appeals to view automated restrictions and request review. Mistakes can be appealed. Immediate danger requires local emergency services; TeaTime reports are not an emergency-response service.
How moderation works today
Basic automated text filters are active. AI text moderation is awaiting activation, and LIVE camera/audio are not automatically scanned. Filters can miss context. Platform administrators review reports and appeals; room moderators have limited room controls.
Sign in and open Safety & appeals to report an account restriction or request review. Report controls are available on member profiles, posts, and LIVE rooms. Do not copy, upload, or redistribute illegal material in a report.
